Congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) is the most common neonatal renal tumor. Diagnosis is usually made in the antenatal period or soon after birth. The tumor accounts for ~5% of renal neoplasms in children. There is a slight male predilection (male to female ratio 1.5:1). CMN is a low-grade fibroblastic neoplasm of the infantile renal sinus.
