Interdigital pilonidal sinus (Q100681)
From determinar.ia.br - Determine suas informações
Interdigital pilonidal sinus is an uncommon, usually occupationally-acquired disorder in which penetration of hair clippings or wool through the skin of the interdigital web space initiates a foreign body reaction, most commonly between the ring and middle fingers. The sinus tracts which then form may remain symptom-free for long periods of time but may become chronically infected and suppurative. The condition is found principally in male barbers and sheep-shearers.
