Acute generalised pustular psoriasis of von Zumbusch (Q88833)

This form may either be preceded by plaque psoriasis or arise de novo, classically after withdrawal of systemic glucocorticosteroids. The appearance is of sheets of small, monomorphic pustules often involving the edges of expanding, intensely inflammatory plaques or developing within erythrodermic skin. Constitutional upset is a frequent concomitant finding.
