Chronic secondary musculoskeletal pain associated with multiple sclerosis is chronic musculoskeletal pain in joint(s), bone(s), muscle(s) or tendon(s) that may occur in patients with any type of multiple sclerosis. The pain is considered to originate in musculoskeletal structures but is not due to multiple sclerosis itself but to the altered biomechanical function of those structures consequent upon that disease.
