Granulosis rubra nasi is an uncommon disorder characterised by a marked focal increase in sweat production on the nose and central face. It usually starts in early childhood with peak incidence from age 7-12 years before resolving spontaneously at puberty. Occasionally, however, it persists indefinitely, in which case telangiectasia affecting the nose becomes the predominant feature.
