Injuries caused by kite flying lines are more frequent in the months when there is a higher incidence of wind (in Brazil, June to August). Generally, they reach people walking on public roads and also motorcyclists and cyclists. This second group of victims most frequently has lesions located in the neck with risk of affecting the trachea and large vessels, which can lead to death.
