An oleogranuloma is a reaction to the presence of mineral oil or grease in the skin and soft tissues. This may be accidental (e.g. grease-gun injury) but at times is self-inflicted into the lips or genitalia in an attempt to replicate the results of dermal fillers. It presents as a firm mass which may result in marked disfigurement, scarring and chronic fistula formation.
