A granulomatose de Wegner pode estar associada tanto à mononeurite múltipla quanto a neuropatias simétricas. As neuropatias podem se desenvolver durante o curso da doença. Além das características de neuropatia múltipla e neuropatias simétricas, o envolvimento de nervos cranianos (II, nervos extraoculares, V, VII, VIII, IX) ocorre e está relacionado ao processo granulomatoso característico. Além disso, envolvimento do sistema renal, vias respiratórias e pulmão, e inflamação focal das cavidades oral e nasal. Ocorre infiltração de vasos pequenos e médios na histologia e os granulomas são os achados mais frequentes._x000D_ Os anticorpos neurais associados são: pANCA (Anticorpos Perinucleares Anti-Neutrófilos Citoplasmáticos) e c-ANCA (Anticorpos Anti-Neutrófilos Citoplasmáticos da Proteinase 3). | |||

In addition to the features of multiplex neuropathy and symmetric neuropathies, cranial nerve involvement (II, extraocular nerves, V, VII, VIII, IX) occurs and are related to the characteristic granulomatous process. In addition system involvement of kidneys, airways and lung, and focal inflammation of the oral and nasal cavities. Histologically small and midsize vessel infiltration occurs, granulomas are more frequent in CN. Associated neural antibodies are: pANCA (Perinuclear Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies) and c-ANCA (Proteinase 3 Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies). | |||
