Ela se apresenta com uma mononeurite múltipla dolorosa e uma neuropatia assimétrica. Raramente também ocorrem neuropatias simétricas. Churg Strauss syndrome is an allergic granulomatosis and angiitis, appearing in all age groups, but in particular in the more advanced age. It presents with a painful mononeuritis multiplex and an asymmetric neuropathy. Rarely also symmetric neuropathies occur. The sensory and motor loss does usually not affect the trunk and cranial nerves are usually spared. In addition to malaise and fatigue, bronchial asthma, pulmonary infiltrates and eosinophilia are suggestive. Associated neural autoantibodies are: MPO-ANCA (Myeloperoxidase Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies) and pANCA (perinuclear anti-neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies) | |||

Churg Strauss syndrome is an allergic granulomatosis and angiitis, appearing in all age groups, but in particular in the more advanced age. It presents with a painful mononeuritis multiplex and an asymmetric neuropathy. Rarely also symmetric neuropathies occur.
