A condition characterised by Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) <60 or presence of kidney damage that is present for more than 3 months in which there is associated other bone pathology, characterised by bone mineralization deficiency, that is a direct result of the electrolyte and endocrine derangements that accompany the chronic kidney disease.
