A maturação muscular retardada refere-se a um atraso do processo de várias etapas perfeitamente ajustado que é iniciado pela especificação de precursores mesodérmicos em mioblastos em proliferação que sofrem retirada, diferenciação e fusão do ciclo celular para formar fibras musculares multinucleadas. Delayed muscle maturation refers to a delay of the finely tuned multi-step process that is initiated by the specification of mesodermal precursors into proliferating myoblasts which undergo cell cycle withdrawal, differentiation and fusion to form multinucleated muscle fibres. This result in an alteration of the fusion of myoblasts into mature multinucleated syncitia, which is a critical component of muscle formation and it is regulated by the tight coordination of actin- and membrane-based dynamics.
