When assessed by the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), patients who show abnormal flexion of the arms when physical stimulus is applied. This abnormal flexion is characterised by the contraction of the muscle groups in the anterior arm and the relaxation of the muscle groups in the posterior arm, resulting in the inward curling of the arm and the flexion of the wrist toward the midline. Scored as M3.
