Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome with SOX1 antibodies is an autoimmune disorder of the neuromuscular junction. SOX1-positive antibodies are thought to be a specific marker for Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome associated with small cell lung cancer, although they are also found in patients with small cell lung cancer but without paraneoplastic neurological disorders. No relation to any clinical characteristic or survival effect has been found for SOX1-positive patients.
