Norepinephrine transporter deficiency (Q83854): Difference between revisions

This is a condition characterised by excessive orthostatic tachycardia, hypertension, syncope and is associated with impaired norepinephrine and epinephrine clearance, hypersensitivity of adrenergic receptors and a decreased pressor response to tyramine. In one family this syndrome was caused by a mutation in the norepinephrine transporter protein.
