Orthostatic tremor (OT) (or "shaky legs syndrome") is a rare syndrome characterized by unsteadiness on standing due to a high-frequency (13-18 Hz) tremor involving the legs. Symptoms improve with sitting down or walking. Most cases of OT are idiopathic but it may be secondary to other disorders.
