Knuckle pads are circumscribed, keratotic, fibrous growths over the dorsa of the interphalangeal joints. Leukonychia is a medical term for white discoloration appearing on nails. Sensorineural deafness is a type of hearing loss in which the root cause lies in the vestibulocochlear nerve (Cranial nerve VIII), the inner ear, or central processing centres of the brain.
