Nonglomerular, autosomal dominant kidney diseases characterised by progressive tubulointerstitial fibrosis and progression to end-stage renal disease. Currently there are 4 known genetic defects - in uromodulin, mucin-1, renin and hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-beta.
