Transtorno que afeta homens, causado por uma anormalidade que ocorre no desenvolvimento sexual durante o período pré-natal. Este transtorno é caracterizado por indivíduos que nascem com ausência dos testículos ou com testículos deficientes em tamanho e função. A confirmação é feita por exame físico, identificação de níveis baixos de testosterona, mas níveis elevados de hormônio folículo estimulante e hormônio luteinizante em uma amostra de sangue, ou exames de imagem.
