Vasculite em artérias ou veias de qualquer tamanho em um único órgão que não tenha características que indiquem que se trata de uma expressão limitada de uma vasculite sistêmica. O órgão envolvido e o tipo de vaso devem ser incluídos no nome (p. ex., VVS cutânea, arterite testicular, vasculite do sistema nervoso central). A distribuição da vasculite pode ser unifocal ou multifocal (difusa) dentro de um órgão. Alguns pacientes originalmente diagnosticados com vasculite de um único órgão desenvolverão manifestações adicionais da doença que justificam a redefinição do caso como uma das vasculites sistêmicas (p. ex., arterite cutânea tornando-se poliarterite nodosa sistêmica, etc.). | |||

The involved organ and vessel type should be included in the name (e.g. cutaneous SVV, testicular arteritis, central nervous system vasculitis). Vasculitis distribution may be unifocal or multifocal (diffuse) within an organ. Some patients originally diagnosed with SOV will develop additional disease manifestations that warrant re-defining the case as one of the systemic vasculitides (e.g. cutaneous arteritis later becoming systemic polyarteritis nodosa, etc.). | |||
