Essas anomalias radiculares são comumente observadas em molares permanentes, especialmente em terceiros molares, que apresentam na maioria dos casos uma raiz fundida, 2 ou 3 raízes fundidas, até mesmo 4 raízes fundidas, ápice radicular arredondado ou dilacerações.
