O diagnóstico de suspeita de glaucoma é estabelecido pela presença de uma das seguintes condições: pressão intraocular (PIO) consistentemente elevada, nervo óptico com aspecto suspeito ou campo visual anormal. Os médicos devem estar atentos à tríade de nervo óptico, campo visual e PIO. Quando uma alteração em uma ou mais dessas áreas é detectada, uma investigação mais aprofundada é necessária. | |||
