O transtorno comportamental do Sono REM é caracterizado por episódios repetidos de comportamentos motores complexos ou vocalizações relacionados ao sono, que ou são documentados pela polissonografia com ocrrendo durante o sono REM (movimentos rápidos dos olhos) ou presume-se que ocorram durante o sono REM devido à história clínica de reação ao sonhos. A polissonografia (quando realizada) demonstra sono REM sem atonia. O transtorno pode ocorrer como uma forma isolada, idiopática, mas é frequentemente associado com doença latente ou manifesta do sistema nervoso, especialmente alfa-sinucleinopatias._x000D_ _x000D_ Nota: Um diagnóstico provisório pode ser estabelecido em bases clínicas, mas o diagnóstico definitivo requer a demonstração polissonográfica de sono REM sem atonia. | |||
