Epilepsia que ocorre em relação a um acidente vascular cerebral (AVC) isquêmico ou hemorrágico, com o AVC ocorrendo ou presumivelmente ocorrendo antes do nascimento (pré-natal) ou entre 22 semanas de gestação e 7 dias após o nascimento (perinatal). Nenhuma outra condição associada a um risco substancialmente aumentado de desenvolver epilepsia está presente. O início da epilepsia pode ocorrer na primeira infância, na infância ou na idade adulta.
