Sintomas cognitivos em transtornos psicóticos primários referem-se ao comprometimento cognitivo em qualquer um dos seguintes domínios: velocidade de processamento, atenção/concentração, orientação, julgamento, abstração, aprendizagem verbal ou visual e memória de trabalho. O comprometimento cognitivo não é atribuível a transtorno do neurodesenvolvimento, delirium ou outro transtorno neurocognitivo, ou aos efeitos diretos de uma substância ou medicamento no sistema nervoso central, incluindo efeitos de abstinência. Idealmente, o uso desta categoria deve ser baseado nos resultados de avaliações neuropsicológicas padronizadas e validadas localmente, embora tais medidas possam não estar disponíveis em todas as situações. A classificação deve ser feita com base na gravidade dos sintomas cognitivos durante a semana anterior. | |||
