Abstinência de estimulantes, incluindo anfetaminas, metanfetamina e metcatinona é um conjunto clinicamente significativo de sintomas, comportamentos e/ou manifestações fisiológicas, variando em grau de gravidade e duração, que ocorre quando da cessação ou redução do uso de estimulantes em indivíduos que tenham desenvolvido dependência de estimulantes ou tenham usado estimulantes por um período prolongado ou em grandes quantidades. A abstinência de estimulantes também pode ocorrer quando estimulantes prescritos foram usados em doses terapêuticas padrão. Stimulant withdrawal can also occur when prescribed stimulants have been used in standard therapeutic doses. Presenting features of stimulant withdrawal may include dysphoric mood, irritability, fatigue, insomnia or (more commonly) hypersomnia, vivid and unpleasant dreams, increased appetite, psychomotor agitation or retardation, and craving for amphetamine or related stimulants. | |||
