Tumor mesenquimal maligno formador de osso geralmente agressivo, que afeta predominantemente adolescentes e adultos jovens. Ele geralmente acomete ossos e, menos frequentemente, localizações extraósseas. Frequentemente acomete os ossos longos (particularmente fêmur distal, tíbia proximal e úmero proximal). Dor com ou sem uma massa palpável é o sintoma clínico mais frequente. Ele pode disseminar para outras localizações anatômicas, particularmente os pulmões.

It often involves the long bones (particularly distal femur, proximal tibia, and proximal humerus). Pain with or without a palpable mass is the most frequent clinical symptom. It may spread to other anatomic sites, particularly the lungs.
