Tumor maligno originando-se do epitélio da vesícula biliar. Geralmente está associada à presença de cálculos biliares. Os sintomas clínicos não são específicos e geralmente se manifestam no final do curso. Morfologicamente, o adenocarcinoma é o tipo mais comum, porém carcinomas de células escamosas, carcinomas adenoescamosos, carcinomas em anel de sinete e carcinomas indiferenciados também podem ocorrer.
