Essa doença também pode se manifestar com sinais neurológicos como paralisia de nervos cranianos, tremor e ataxia, parkinsonismo ou paralisia dos membros superiores. A transmissão ocorre através da picada de um mosquito infectado. A confirmação é pela identificação de flavivírus em uma amostra de soro ou líquido cefalorraquidiano. | |||
