Mucinose cutânea focal apresenta-se como uma pápula ou nódulo solitário, assintomático, da cor da pele, que pode ocorrer em face, tronco ou extremidades. Histologicamente, há acúmulo localizado de mucina na derme com número aumentado de fibroblastos. A mucinose cutânea focal também faz parte da síndrome de Birt-Hogg-Dubé.
