Mucinose cutânea autocurável juvenil é um transtorno raro caracterizado por uma idade de início precoce acompanhado de fenômenos inflamatórios e resolução espontânea em poucos meses. Clinicamente, existem pápulas, nódulos ou placas com predileção por cabeça e tronco. Histologicamente, há mucinose dérmica e discreto aumento de fibroblastos e mastócitos. Postula-se que ocorra uma alteração temporária da função sintética dos fibroblastos, possivelmente como resultado de uma infecção viral. Casos raros de mucinose cutâneaautocurável foram relatados em adultos. | |||

Self-healing juvenile cutaneous mucinosis is a rare disorder characterised by an early age of onset accompanied by inflammatory phenomena and spontaneous resolution over a few months. Clinically, there are papules, nodules or plaques with a predilection for the head and trunk. Histologically, there is dermal mucinosis and a mild increase in fibroblasts and mast cells. It is postulated that a temporary alteration of fibroblast synthetic function occurs, possibly as a result of a viral infection. Rare cases of self-healing cutaneous mucinosis have been reported in adults. | |||

Self-healing juvenile cutaneous mucinosis is a rare disorder characterised by an early age of onset accompanied by inflammatory phenomena and spontaneous resolution over a few months. Clinically, there are papules, nodules or plaques with a predilection for the head and trunk. Histologically, there is dermal mucinosis and a mild increase in fibroblasts and mast cells.
