Em geral, os sintomas da acromatopsia incompleta são semelhantes aos da acromatopsia completa, exceto que em uma forma diminuída. Indivíduos com acromatopsia incompleta apresentam redução da acuidade visual com ou sem nistagmo ou fotofobia. Além disso, estes indivíduos apresentam apenas comprometimento parcial da função dos cones mas, novamente, retiveram a função dos bastonetes.

Individuals with incomplete achromatopsia have reduced visual acuity with or without nystagmus or photophobia.
