Eritema multiforme é uma condição da pele de causa desconhecida, possivelmente mediada por deposição de imunocomplexos (principalmente IgM) na microvasculatura superficial da pele e mucosa oral que geralmente se segue a uma infecção ou exposição a drogas. Este diagnóstico é provocado por uma bactéria muito pequena da classe Mollicutes. Causa a doença pneumonia por micoplasma, uma forma de pneumonia bacteriana atípica, e está relacionada à doença por aglutinina fria. | |||

Erythema multiforme is a skin condition of unknown cause, possibly mediated by deposition of immune complex (mostly IgM) in the superficial microvasculature of the skin and oral mucous membrane that usually follows an infection or drug exposure. This diagnosis is provoked by a very small bacterium in the class Mollicutes. It causes the disease mycoplasma pneumonia, a form of atypical bacterial pneumonia, and is related to cold agglutinin disease.
