A condition of the immune system, caused by a decreased concentration of kappa light chains resulting from a mutation in the IGKC gene located on chromosome 2p11. This condition may present with recurrent respiratory infections, diarrhoea, or may be asymptomatic. Confirmation is by genetic testing.
