Padrão de uso de cannabis que aumenta consideravelmente o risco de consequências nocivas à saúde física ou mental para o usuário ou para outras pessoas numa medida que merece atenção e aconselhamento por profissionais de saúde. O risco aumentado pode decorrer da frequência de uso de cannabis, da quantidade usada em determinada ocasião, de comportamentos de risco associados ao uso de cannabis ou do contexto de uso, de uma via de administração nociva ou de uma combinação desses fatores. The increased risk may be from the frequency of cannabis use, from the amount used on a given occasion, from risky behaviours associated with cannabis use or the context of use, from a harmful route of administration, or from a combination of these. The risk may be related to short-term effects of cannabis or to longer-term cumulative effects on physical or mental health or functioning. Hazardous use of cannabis has not yet reached the level of having caused harm to physical or mental health of the user or others around the user.
