Desenvolvimento atrasado em relação à maturação óssea e seu crescimento pré-púbere e puberal de crianças. Ocorre com ou sem baixa estatura abaixo do percentil 3 de comprimento. A velocidade de crescimento em altura geralmente está temporariamente abaixo da média. A idade óssea está sempre atrasada. A puberdade começa tardiamente, mas espontaneamente. Outras causas de atraso de crescimento (com ou sem baixa estatura abaixo do percentil 3) ou de puberdade tardia devem ser excluídas. | |||
