Condição do ovário causada por um crescimento ou involução folicular devido à falha da ovulação. Esta condição é caracterizada pela formação não neoplásica de estruturas saculares fechadas cheias de fluido sobre ou dentro do ovário e revestidas por camadas de células da granulosa. Essa condição costuma ser assintomática, mas também pode se apresentar com dor pélvica, sangramento menstrual irregular, dispareunia, náuseas, vômitos ou urgência para urinar. A confirmação é feita por exame de imagem. | |||

This condition is characterised by the non-neoplastic formation of closed sac-like structures filled with fluid on or in the ovary and lined by layers of granulosa cells. This condition is commonly asymptomatic, but may also present with pelvic pain, irregular menstrual bleeding, dyspareunia, nausea, vomiting, or urgency to urinate. Confirmation is by imaging. | |||

This condition is characterised by the non-neoplastic formation of closed sac-like structures filled with fluid on or in the ovary and lined by layers of granulosa cells. This condition is commonly asymptomatic, but may also present with pelvic pain, irregular menstrual bleeding, dyspareunia, nausea, vomiting, or urgency to urinate. Confirmation is by imaging.
