Síndrome do linfonodo mucocutâneo (doença de Kawasaki) é uma vasculite aguda de distribuição global em crianças pequenas que afeta artérias de médio a pequeno calibre e, se não tratada, leva a aneurismas de artérias coronárias em cerca de um quarto dos casos. Os sinais cardinais incluem linfadenopatia cervical, inflamação conjuntival, erupção cutânea (maculopapular, eritrodérmica ou eritema multiforme-símile), língua em morango, enantema orofaríngeo, eritema e inchaço das mãos e pés e descamação periungueal. Cardinal signs include cervical lymphadenopathy, conjunctival injection, rash (maculopapular, erythrodermic or erythema multiforme-like), strawberry tongue, oropharyngeal erythema, erythema and swelling of hands and feet and periungual desquamation. Cardinal signs include cervical lymphadenopathy, conjunctival injection, rash (maculopapular, erythrodermic or erythema multiforme-like), strawberry tongue, oropharyngeal erythema, erythema and swelling of hands and feet and periungual desquamation.
