Lúpus eritematoso cutâneo subagudo é uma forma não cicatricial de lúpus eritematoso, tipificada pela presença de anticorpos anti-Ro/SSA circulantes e manchas eritematosas inflamadas discoides ou anulares com descamação fina variável em pele exposta ao sol, especialmente nos lados de face e pescoço, no V do decote, nas superfícies extensoras dos braços e na parte superior do dorso: em contraste com o lúpus eritematoso sistêmico, as bochechas tendem a ser poupadas. A doença visceral é menos frequente do que no lúpus eritematoso sistêmico: o envolvimento renal é raro e leve. | |||

Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus is a non-scarring form of lupus erythematosus typified by the presence of circulating anti-Ro/SSA antibodies and discoid or annular inflamed red patches with variable fine scaling on sun-exposed skin, especially the sides of the face and neck, the vee of the neck, the extensor surfaces of the upper arms and the upper back: in contrast with systemic lupus erythematosus the cheeks tend to be spared. Visceral disease is less frequent than in systemic lupus erythematosus: renal involvement is rare and mild. | |||

Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus is a non-scarring form of lupus erythematosus typified by the presence of circulating anti-Ro/SSA antibodies and discoid or annular inflamed red patches with variable fine scaling on sun-exposed skin, especially the sides of the face and neck, the vee of the neck, the extensor surfaces of the upper arms and the upper back: in contrast with systemic lupus erythematosus the cheeks tend to be spared.
