A transmissão ocorre pela ingestão de larvas contaminadas, contato direto com um mosquito, carrapato ou mosca infectados, ou contato indireto com ovos de mosca infectados. A confirmação é feita pela identificação de Diptera em uma amostra de tecido. | |||
