Essa doença geralmente se apresenta com uma apresentação clínica leve de tosse paroxística, estridor inspiratório e desmaios ou vômitos após tosse. A transmissão ocorre por inalação de secreções respiratórias infectadas. This disease typically presents with a mild clinical presentation of paroxysmal cough, inspiratory whoop, and fainting or vomiting after coughing.
