Doença dos linfonodos periféricos, causada por uma infecção pela bactéria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Esta doença é caracterizada por inflamação dos gânglios linfáticos periféricos, tipicamente os cervicais. A transmissão ocorre através da disseminação hematogênica para os linfonodos periféricos após a inalação de secreções respiratórias infectadas. A confirmação é feita pela identificação de Mycobacterium tuberculosis a partir de biópsias de linfonodos. | |||

A disease of the peripheral lymph nodes, caused by an infection with the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease is characterised by inflammation of the peripheral lymph nodes, typically the cervical lymph nodes. Transmission is through haematogenous spread to the peripheral lymph nodes after inhalation of infected respiratory secretions. Confirmation is by identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from lymph node biopsies. | |||

A disease of the peripheral lymph nodes, caused by an infection with the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease is characterised by inflammation of the peripheral lymph nodes, typically the cervical lymph nodes. Transmission is through haematogenous spread to the peripheral lymph nodes after inhalation of infected respiratory secretions. Confirmation is by identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from lymph node biopsies.
