Síndrome de dispersão pigmentar (SDP) é uma doença da pigmentação ocular devida ao depósito de grânulos de pigmento por todo o segmento anterior do olho e é caracterizada pela presença de defeitos de transiluminação da íris em média periferia, com formato de fenda e radial, uma banda vertical de pigmentação corneana (fuso de Krukenberg) e pigmentação densa da malha trabecular. Pigment dispersion syndrome (PDS) is an ocular pigmentation disease due to the deposition of pigment granules throughout the anterior segment of the eye and characterised by the presence of mid-peripheral, slit-like, radial iris transillumination (TI) defects, a vertical band of corneal pigmentation (Krukenberg (K)-spindle), and dense pigmentation of the trabecular meshwork. PDS is also associated with an increased risk of pigmentary glaucoma. | |||||||||||||||
