Foliculite pustulosa eosinofílica infantil é caracterizada por surtos recorrentes de lesões pustulosas não infecciosas contendo eosinófilos no couro cabeludo de bebês. Na maioria dos casos, a condição começa antes dos seis meses de idade e remite aos três anos de idade. Em dois terços dos casos, outras áreas do corpo além do couro cabeludo são afetadas. Infantile eosinophilic pustular folliculitis is characterised by recurrent outbreaks of non-infective pustular lesions containing eosinophils on the scalp of infants. In the majority of cases the condition commences before the age of six months and remits by the age of three years. In two thirds of cases body areas other than the scalp are affected.
