+O granuloma anular subcutâneo ocorre predominantemente em crianças como nódulos subcutâneos, especialmente ao redor da face anterior de pernas, mãos, cabeça e nádegas. Em apenas cerca de um quarto dos casos estão associados ao granuloma anular dérmico clássico. Apresentam semelhança clínica e histológica com nódulos reumatoides, mas não estão associados à doença reumatoide.
