Esta condição é caracterizada pela parada de maturação que ocorre na formação dos eritrócitos. Esta condição pode se manifestar com anemia grave. A confirmação é feita pela identificação de eritrócitos anormalmente formados numa amostra de sangue.

This condition is characterised by maturation arrest occuring in the formation of erythrocytes. This condition may present with severe anaemia.
