A congenital cardiac malformation of the mitral valve in which there are two separate flow orifices through the mitral valve into the left ventricle. Additional information: To differentiate the congenital term "Double orifice of mitral valve" from a mitral valve with a fenestrated or perforated mitral valve leaflet, this term should only be used when both orifices are supported by tensor apparatuses.
