+Condição pós COVID-19 ocorre em indivíduos com histórico de infecção provável ou confirmada por SARS-CoV-2, geralmente 3 meses após o início da COVID-19 com sintomas, e que duram pelo menos 2 meses e não podem ser explicados por um diagnóstico alternativo. Sintomas comuns incluem fadiga, falta de ar, disfunção cognitiva mas também outras, e geralmente têm impacto nas atividades diárias. Os sintomas podem apresentar um novo aparecimento após a recuperação inicial de um episódio agudo de COVID-19 ou persistir desde a doença inicial.
