+Divertículo congênito muito raro, tipicamente localizado logo acima da junção cricofaríngea. Geralmente é assintomático, a menos que seja complicado por um processo inflamatório. Se o divertículo comprime a traqueia ou está associado a estenose ou fístula esofágica, os sintomas de estridor, disfagia progressiva, dificuldade respiratória, sufocação grave e regurgitação podem estar presentes desde o nascimento.

+A very rare congenital diverticulum which is typically located just above the cricopharyngeal junction. It is usually asymptomatic unless complicated by an inflammatory process. If the diverticulum compresses the trachea or is associated with oesophageal stenosis or fistula, the symptoms of stridor, progressive dysphagia, respiratory distress, severe choking, and regurgitation may be present from birth.
