+Condição causada por falha da laringe m se desenvolver corretamente durante o período pré-natal. Esta doença é caracterizada por colapso das estruturas supraglóticas para dentro das vias aéreas durante a fase inspiratória da respiração, resultando em estridor inspiratório. Essa doença também pode se apresentar com regurgitação, vômito, tosse, engasgo, alimentação lenta, perda de peso, falha no crescimento, taquipneia, retrações supraesternais e subesternais, cianose, pectus excavatum ou apneia obstrutiva do sono. A confirmação é feita por meio da verificação do colapso supraglótico por laringoscopia flexível.

This disease is characterised by collapse of the supraglottic structures into the airway during the inspiratory phase of respiration, resulting in inspiratory stridor. This disease may also present with regurgitation, emesis, cough, choking, slow feedings, weight loss, failure to thrive, tachypnoea, suprasternal and substernal retractions, cyanosis, pectus excavatum, or obstructive sleep apnoea. Confirmation is through verification of supraglottic collapse by flexible laryngoscopy.
