Rosácea papulopustulosa é caracterizada, como o nome indica, por pápulas eritematosas e pústulas estéreis afetando a pele da face. Estão tipicamente localizadas em bochechas, centro do queixo, nariz e centro da fronte. A pele perilesional está inflamada e pode estar edemaciada. Em contraste com a acne papulopustulosa, comedões, nódulos e cistos não estão presentes.

Papulopustular rosacea is characterised, as the name implies, by erythematous papules and sterile pustules affecting facial skin. These are typically located on the cheeks, central chin, nose and central forehead. The perilesional skin is inflamed and may be oedematous. In contradistinction to papulopustular acne, comedones, nodules and cysts are not a feature.
